My personal recommendations
You want to go somewhere else? Well, I can't blame you as there is not much here yet. Below you find a small list of pages that I found to be exceptionally useful for learning and doing 3D. I hope you find what you are looking for and maybe come back one day!
Right now I am looking for link-exchange partners. If you would like a link exchange that would benefit both our websites, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The page Highend3d has got heaps of useful stuff! Visiting their "Downloads"-section is usually one of the first things I do when I go online, for there really is a lot of high-quality stuff: shaders, rigs, scripts. you name it, they have got it! Whenever I search for a good rig or a nice shader, highend3d is the website I go to first. So, if you didn't find what you where looking for here, I suggest you try at highend3d, but don't forget where you came from ;-)
On 3D Buzz I found all the Video-tutorials I needed for getting started with Maya. They are extremely good, entertaining, informative and, best of all, for free! There is also a very nice forum with heaps of nice, friendly, helpful and skilled people willing to help anyone who needs them.
On 3dtutorials.sk they have got probably one of the best, and most likely biggest tutorial-collection for CG. Not everything is useful for Maya, but still a freaking lot!
On "The Blueprints" you can find tons of free ... guess what ... blueprints, mostly of cars. Incredibly useful, especially for those of us with a less vivid imagination ;-) And did I mention it's for free? Well, actually, I did... It's free! What the heck are you still waiting for?
On www.3dlinks.com you can find a huge and very useful collection of links about anything that has to do with 3D, not only Maya. They have a nice collection of linked tutorials, as well.
On Infinitee Designs you can find another useful collection of 3D-Links. They also feature 2D illustrations, tutorials and other resources.
